VAREI advocates for home inspectors with Virginia’s legislators and regulators. No other nonprofit inspection group works like VAREI to watch out for your best interests. At the same time, we rely on the financial support of inspectors who join and renew their VAREI membership each year.

VAREI offers value. The $175 membership fee is all-inclusive. Your membership supports VAREI’s efforts to pay a registered lobbyist who works for us and helps protect inspector interests. Your fee also includes the annual seminar, multiple hot-topic webinars during the year, and informative newsletters.

All new and renewal memberships are active through September 2025.

History

VAREI was founded in 2000 by a group of home inspectors who were dedicated to representing inspector concerns with Virginia’s legislators. Today, VAREI’s volunteer leaders and members continue this focus by helping to support the association’s goals to advance inspector interests and protect the safety of home inspector clients.
