Smart Home Technology: A Practical Guide for the Home Inspector
Presented by Mark Goodman

This informative webinar will provide inspectors with an excellent overview of smart home technology and the unique aspects of how it is incorporated into the home. Smart technology is constantly emerging and presents many challenges for inspectors in their inspection practices, as it can involve systems controlled by user interfaces that operate lighting and audio systems, heating and cooling systems, plumbing-related systems, home security, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, the electrical system, and more!

Inspectors will gain a better understanding of this technology and how it interfaces with the home’s systems. This knowledge will equip inspectors to report on the systems in the home and confidently communicate with their clients about smart home features, including being able to explain about a fully integrated smart home or a home that simply has smart devices.
