ThoroSpec founder and principal, Hollis Brown, VCHI, is a 35-year veteran of the metropolitan area home building & home inspection industry with experience in construction management and design/build remodeling. He attended Indiana State University and studied architecture and construction management. Hollis holds the VCHI designation of the VA Board for Lead, Asbestos & Home Inspection. As the head instructor at the prestigious Home Inspector Training Academy , Hollis has trained hundreds of home inspectors throughout the U.S. He is a long-time member of the American Society of Home Inspectors ( ASHI), and proudly upholds the ASHI Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics.
