David Wingenbach began his career as a carpenter in the Air Force, serving with a combat construction unit in Viet Nam, and later as a construction inspection specialist in Okinawa. He carried these skills into civilian life working as an inspector, a quality control manager, and a construction superintendent for both the government and commercial contractors. In addition to his construction expereince, David has worked in the kitchen cabinet manufacturing business and hardware distribution. He brings not only a wide range of construction and inspection experience to the business, but a love of the Valley and its historic homes. David is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and a certified home inspector in Virginia (3380000477) and West Virginia (HI6670386-0511). He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and majored in Forest Product Utilization. For the past 30 years he and his wife Margery have been living in, and restoring, a 240 year-old stone house in downtown Winchester.
